Our own personal in house elite gymnast. We are so happy to have Kendra join Popov. As a high level gymnast and 30+ years of coaching other high level gymnasts bring an amazing opportunity for our Popov athletes to experience. How lucky are we to have one more amazing addition to our staff.
Growing up around gymnastics her whole life, it is only natural that Polina would make a great coach. Watching and learning gymnastics from her parents, Sergey & Anna, give her the opportunity to share that with other gymnasts here at Popov. After her many years as a high level gymnast came to a close, coaching was her next step. We are so happy that she has decided to stay and continue to work with our athletes.
The boys know how to have fun and Misha makes sure that fun is mixed in with lots of opportunity to succeed in the gym. Misha also grew up in the gym and watched and learned from his parents, Sergey & Anna. He not only coaches for Popov, but brings back lots to the table with his other sports, hockey and football. The boys really look up to him and we are happy that he is still hanging around with us.
We are so lucky to have this gem. Still competing and coaching for so many years, Peyton is the hardest working gal we know. All the gymnasts here at Popov look up to her as an amazing role model, not only in the gym, but what she brings to our community as well. If you get a chance to have your child in her class, you will find out what we mean. We truly are so lucky to have her here with us.
This is Miss Isabell Jensen. Isabell trained in competitive gymnastics for 11 years, five of which were under Sergey Popov. She went on to win multiple state titles and compete on a state, regional, and national level. Isabell has coached for Sergey for four years and loves what she does! Her favorite event is beam, but she loves it all!
Jazmyn trained in gymnastics for 5 years and competed up to Level 5. Now she has turned her energy and knowledge into coaching here at Popov. She is so fun, loving and enthusiatic - especially with our littles.
Dita has trained in gymnastics at this gym for 11 years and is still competing, now at level 8. She loves to share her experiences and knowledge of this sport through coaching. Making an environment that is fun and exciting is her way of giving back and showing how much she cares for these budding athletes.
We welcome back Maddie this summer...
our newest edition to the staff. As a gymnast herself for quite a few years at Popov, she is returning to the sport again and sharing herself through coaching (and a little training on the side). We are so happy to have Maddison back with us.
We have a newby to Pocatello, but not to this amazing sport of gymnastics. We are so excited to introduce Ethan, our newest guy coach to Popov Gymnastics. As a former gymnast, he is giving back not only here through coaching, but also at gymnastics camps across the county.
